This guide focuses on the park we offer as a full-day excursion from Hurghada, Makadi Water World, in Makadi Bay south of the city. What is at Makadi Water World?
The park has more than 50 water slides and attractions, from pools and children's splash areas to faster slides. Attractions run on the park's own schedule, and individual ones may occasionally be closed for safety or operational reasons.
What does the excursion include?

Prices and pickup
The excursion costs from $65 per adult. Children aged 5–11 pay $32.50, and children aged 0–4 travel free. Pickup from Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh and Soma Bay costs +$5, and from El Gouna +$10.
Is it suitable for young children?
Yes, there are pools and splash areas for different ages, including children's areas. Some slides have minimum height, age or other safety requirements set by the park, so please follow the signs and staff instructions. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

- Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat
- Some money for extras such as lockers, which may be available at the park for a fee
Your exact pickup time is confirmed the day before. Please wait at your hotel's main entrance or the designated pickup point, and allow 10–15 minutes for possible delays.

- Transfer to Makadi Bay and entry to the park.
- Free time on the slides, in the pools and in the children's areas, at your own pace.
- Lunch and soft drinks at the park.
- Transfer back to your hotel.
Tips for families
- Keep valuables to a minimum. Lockers are not included in the price.
- Check slide rules with your children before you queue, as some have height or age requirements.
- Plan for sun protection. It is a full day outdoors, so bring sunscreen and hats for everyone.
- Stay flexible. Attractions follow the park's own schedule, so have a second favourite in mind.
How to book
Choose your date and the number of adults and children, select your pickup area and enter your hotel, then pay a 30% deposit or the full amount. The total, including any pickup surcharge, is shown before you pay.
